Big, detailed models no longer time out
- Very detailed models, like multi-color signs and heavily textured prints, could hit the 10-minute limit and fail. They now finish in a couple of minutes. Reports for everything else are exactly the same as before.
- If a file ever does run out of time, it now fails once instead of retrying, so nobody else waits behind it.
- When a tune fails, you can choose to let us download that file to find out what went wrong. It is optional, used only for troubleshooting, and you can withdraw it any time.
- Updates like this one now show as a banner in the app, and as an alert if you have notifications on. You can turn the alerts off in Account → Notifications.
Closed beta opens
- Beta testers get Pro free, and keep it after the beta: tuned files, print-time estimates, no monthly limit.
- Rate a print as Failed: pick what happened and when, and get tips on what to try next. On Pro, add up to five photos for a photo check that names the likely cause; after you review the changes, the tuning rules make a corrected file.
