Terms of service
By creating an account or using Plateright, you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose; if anything is unclear, ask us.
The service
Plateright reads a Bambu Studio project (.3mf), reports what it finds on each plate, and suggests print settings. Depending on your plan it also returns a tuned copy of your project and print-time estimates. Plateright is not made by or affiliated with Bambu Lab.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
- You need to be at least 13 years old to use Plateright.
- One person per account.
Plans and limits
- The Free plan includes 3 files a month, report only (the tuned file download is part of Pro), counted when you submit a file. Failed jobs don't count.
- Uploads can be up to 250 MB. We may limit how many files you tune at once or per hour to keep the service fair.
- Paid plans, when offered, show their price before you pay and can be cancelled at any time; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Your files
- Your files stay yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you.
- Only upload files you have the right to use.
- We keep files for a limited time, as described in the privacy policy. Keep your own copies of anything you need.
Acceptable use
Don't use Plateright to:
- upload anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
- attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits;
- upload files built to harm our systems or other users.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Print results
Tuned settings are suggestions based on an automated analysis of your file. Printers, filaments and conditions vary, so check the settings in Bambu Studio before printing. Plateright is provided "as is": we don't guarantee any particular print result, print time or that the service will always be available.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for failed prints, wasted filament, printer wear or damage, lost files, or indirect losses from using Plateright. If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop using Plateright at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end or change the service; if we shut it down, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you by email for significant changes. Using Plateright after a change means you accept the new terms.
